Important reminders for a smooth pet sitting experience

At Paws and Companions, we strive to provide the best possible care for your beloved pets. To ensure a smooth and worry-free experience for both you and your furry friends, please take a moment to review these important reminders before you leave.

Before you go: essential preparations

  • Leave an emergency contact number so we can reach you if needed.
  • Leave a light on, especially if we will be visiting after dark, to ensure your pet's comfort and security.
  • Call your vet's office and let them know that Paws and Companions will be caring for your pet(s) in your absence.
  • Be sure all your pets are safely inside on the first visit to ensure a secure and comfortable transition.
  • Double-check to be sure all your windows and doors are securely locked.
  • If you need to cancel services, please do so no later than 24 hours in advance to avoid any cancellation fees.
  • If you have an alarm system, please leave the password, code, or relevant phone numbers in case the alarm is accidentally triggered.
